These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the mobile application PlaceHunt (the “App”), published by Map Apps (“we”, “us”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

License

We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non‑commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and the app store rules that apply to your device.

Advertising

The App may display ads from third‑party ad networks (including Google AdMob). Ads help us keep the App available. Ad content and frequency are determined by the ad networks and may vary by region and your choices (e.g., personalized vs. non‑personalized ads). You can manage ad choices in Settings → Manage Ads where available.

Third‑party services

The App may interact with third‑party services (e.g., Google AdMob, Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, OpenStreetMap, Wikidata). Your use of such services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control or assume responsibility for third‑party content or services.

User conduct

Do not use the App for unlawful purposes or to infringe others’ rights.
Do not attempt to copy, reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App except as permitted by law.
Do not interfere with the App’s normal operation, security, or data storage mechanisms.

Intellectual property

PlaceHunt and all related trademarks, logos, and branding are the property of Map Apps or its licensors. Third‑party trademarks and content are the property of their respective owners.

Disclaimers

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Gameplay data (e.g., hints, coordinates) may contain errors or be incomplete.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Map Apps will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the App.

Updates & changes

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable laws.
